Libertyville Savings Bank
Small Town Bank That’s Big On Service
Years As A Fairfield Based Bank
Libertyville Savings Bank was established in 1901 in Libertyville. In 1996 we moved our charter and began construction on our Fairfield office. There have been 2 additions since the original building adding many more offices and jobs. Since then, we have continued to grow and now have office locations in several other small communities in southeast Iowa including Eldon, Keosauqua, Keota and Douds.
Being a local bank means we are connected on many levels to the communities that we serve. Our staff reside in these communities, their kids go to the schools and are involved in sports, 4-H and the fine arts. We are involved in committees and sit on boards of groups that strive to better our little towns. It is our great passion to see each one of our communities soar. We volunteer our time and continuously make donations to see that this happens. Our employees have served the Fairfield community through many volunteer hours at organizations they hold dear. The Lords Cupboard, Carry on Bags, Jefferson County Fair, and many hours in the concession stands for Fairfield Schools just to name a few. We currently have employees serving community betterment organizations such as Rotary, Habitat for Humanity, Soil and Water Conservation, Ambassadors, Fairfield Economic Development, Pathfinders, and the Rural Water Association. In addition to volunteering time, supporting our communities with monetary donations is essential to their growth. In the last few years LSB has made significant donations to the Civic Center, Jefferson County Kids daycare, the fairgrounds, Masdam Barns, Habitat for Humanity and Fairfield Schools for the weight room, library, and the construction technology class.
We are INCREDIBLY proud to say that we are an 8-year running top Iowa workplace!! Our team is amazing, and this huge milestone wouldn’t be possible without their dedication to service.
